Molten aluminium being poured from a crucible furnace
Aluminium recycling & melting

We turn aluminium scrap into certified ingots

Sun Group Aluminum operates a fully tracked recycling and melting plant — sorting, pulverising, screening, crucible melting and spectro-tested ingot casting for foundries, extruders and traders.

What we do

One plant covering the full recycling chain, so material never leaves our control between scrap intake and finished ingot.

Scrap collection & sorting

We buy and collect mixed aluminium scrap, then sort it by alloy family and contamination level before it enters the plant.

Crushing, pulverising & screening

Single and double pulverising followed by magnetic separation and screening removes iron, dust and non-metallics to lift furnace yield.

Crucible furnace melting

Heat-wise melting with recorded input and output for every crucible, so recovery is measured per heat instead of estimated.

Ingot casting & grading

Cast ingots are weighed, counted and graded, then stored against the input material they were produced from.

Spectro analysis & certification

In-house spectrometer testing on raw material and finished ingots, with a printable analysis certificate for every batch.

Dispatch with delivery orders

Every dispatch generates a delivery order with weights, pieces, grades and customer reference for a clean paper trail.

From scrap to dispatch

01

Material in

Weighbridge entry, ticket number, supplier and item type recorded on arrival.

02

Sorting & processing

Pulverising, magnetic separation and screening with operator-wise output logged.

03

Melting

Charge is melted heat by heat in crucible furnaces under a controlled work order.

04

Casting & testing

Ingots are cast, weighed and spectro-tested against the customer's target chemistry.

05

Dispatch

Approved batches are released with a delivery order and analysis certificate.

Certified chemistry

Each ingot batch is linked to its spectro result, so you know the exact composition you are buying.

Lower-carbon metal

Recycled aluminium uses a fraction of the energy of primary smelting — the same metal, far less impact.

Digitally tracked plant

Our own plant management system tracks material from gate-in to dispatch, so schedules and balances are always current.
